Omni-ID Announces Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer

ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 07, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Omni-ID, the world’s Founder and #1 Provider of Industrial RFID tags, today announced the appointment of Dr. Tony Kington to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by its Board of Directors.

Tony Kington joined QinetiQ, Ltd. in 2005 to direct the initial development of the company’s RFID efforts, which led to the formation of Omni-ID. As the founder of Omni-ID, Tony brings a breadth of expertise in many aspects of the business. His contributions to Omni-ID have been significant, setting the groundwork for future growth. Since its inception, Tony has successfully led global teams in engineering, sales, and customer services together with responsibility for Omni-ID’s wholly-owned assembly and test facility.
