Omni-ID strengthens US Team with two high caliber recruits

We are delighted to announce two recent recruits who have joined our US Field Sales team, bringing with them many years of RFID and IoT experience.

First up is Lance Decker who joins as Field Applications Engineer. Lance is a Certified Project Management Professional. He gained a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Sciences many years ago before embarking on an interesting and varied career in the technology sector. He recently went back to college and will complete his Masters in Engineering this May at Texas A&M University. He clearly fell back in love with studying as he is then going to embark on a PHD in Interdisciplinary Engineering.

Lance’s recent career has included working as a Field Application Engineer at Blue Cats – a Bluetooth specialist who integrate tracking & monitoring software and hardware. Before this he was at Tenaris – a specialist metal pipe manufacturer. Here Lance was responsible for RFID tagging, labelling and stenciling on finished pipes worldwide and travelled extensively in project management and client service roles.

Lance has known Kathy Gannon in our US sales team for years and jumped at the chance when she asked him to join the Omni-ID team. Lance commented:-

“I’m really excited at the opportunity with Omni-ID. The range of technical solutions they are working with and their ability to bring solutions to market is off the chart. There is also a real breadth of knowledge inside the company and a very high quality client list. My inner technical ‘Geek’ is already very happy as I am getting to play with lots of cool new toys when testing the products that are under development”.

Joining Lance in our US based team is Lisa Moore.

Lisa is a Strategic Account Manager with a number of years’ experience in the AIDC space but from the ‘other side of the fence’ as a VAR reseller at some well respected channel partners. Lisa has experience of selling a wide range of different product types for a variety of OEMs including Zebra, Honeywell, Data Logic, Panasonic and Omni-ID (so she is no stranger to our team).

Outside of work Lisa is a very busy Mom (2 children at High School and 1 in Elementary school) and spends a lot of time at drill team practice and soccer matches.

Lisa describes herself as an accidental ‘Geek’ having started her working life as a Certified Medical Assistant with a successful early career in Healthcare staffing before entering the technology world 11 years ago. She found that she was really interested in the technology and has never looked back. She commented:-

“I’m loving my first few weeks at Omni-ID and it’s great to see things from a manufacturers point of view having spent so long with a VAR hat on. There is so much innovation going on here and a very exciting, evolving product portfolio and I can’t wait to really develop my new role.”

Both Lisa and Lance will be part of a strong Omni-ID team attending RFID Journal Live in Orlando in April. If you would like to book a time to meet either them on our booth (#2206) please send them an e-mail lance.decker@omni-id.com or lisa.moore@omni-id.com
