Vizinex RFID Signs License Agreement with Omni-ID

Allentown, PA and Rochester, NY (July 30, 2014) — Vizinex RFID announced today that it has signed a patent licensing agreement for Omni-ID’s innovative radiation decoupler technololgy. The agreement allows Vizinex RFID to manufacture and sell RFID tags incorporating Omni-ID’s technology embodied in US Patents 7768400, 7880619, 8264358 829927 and 8502678. “Omni-ID is committed to delivering leading edge RFID technologies to the market, this agreement with Vizinex RFID provides the foundation for collaboration between two companies with the same goal,” said George E. Daddis, Jr. PhD, CEO of Omni-ID. “We are delighted to have finalized a licensing agreement and look forward to working together to deliver next generation technologies that bring the promises of IOT connectivity to life in the industrial marketplace.”

Omni-ID announced the Omni Global Technology Licensing Program (OGTL) in 2012. This program was launched to provide access to Omni-ID’s unique patented technology for the industry’s first commercially viable on-metal RFID tag product line, enabling further market expansion and new growth opportunities.
